Ichthys Subsea LNG (GE Oil & Gas)

The Ichthys Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project included contracts awarded to GE Oil & Gas totaling over $1 billion to supply a wide range of equipment and services for the project in Australia. Ivar Draganja served as a commercial and contract management advisor to GE Oil & Gas Norway on one of the largest Ichthys contracts for approximately two years. In addition, Ivar supported the GE Oil & Gas team on various other subsea oil and gas projects during his tenure.

Purple Line Light Railway (MDOT MTA)

The Maryland National Capital Purple Line is a $9.3 billion, 16.2-mile light rail project connecting Bethesda, Silver Spring, College Park, the University of Maryland, and New Carrollton. It will also integrate with Metrorail, MARC commuter rail lines, and Amtrak's Northeast Corridor. The Purple Line is scheduled to begin revenue service in December 2027. Structured as a Public-Private Partnership, the project includes a 30-year concession period. Since 2018, Ivar Draganja has led the team and served as the principal commercial and contract management advisor to the MDOT MTA project team.

Haven Jack-Up (Master Marine)

During construction, the original specifications of the Haven jack-up were modified from a conventional jack-up design to a self-elevating accommodation jack-up. Consequently, Ivar Draganja was tasked with recruiting and leading a team that processed nearly 400 change orders in under two years. Additionally, he provided contract and commercial advice on Haven’s sister jack-up, which was being constructed on a staggered schedule. Ivar also developed the deal strategy, negotiated, drafted, and implemented EPC subcontractor agreements.
